Federal Legislative Advocacy Day — September 17 — 19, 2024 in Washington, DC\nThe City' s Federal lobbyist David Turch & Associates is coordinating afederal lobby\nday for the month of September when the Senate and the House of Representatives\nwill be in session. Visiting while representatives are in session provides the\nmaximum opportunity to meet with them face- to- face. The intent is to conduct\nmeetings to discuss topics on Transportation, Public Safety, Economic Development,\nHousing, and various issues affecting the City of Rosemead. The City Council will\nconsider authorizing the attendance of any Council Member and City staff who\nwishes to attend a Federal Legislative Advocacy Day in Washington, DC\non September 17- 19, 2024.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the attendance, at City expense,\nof any Council Member and City staff interested in attending a Federal Legislative\nAdvocacy Day in Washington, DC on September 17- 19, 2024.
