19. REJECT BIDS RECEIVED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A DOG PARK AT ACUÑA PARK (CP 922) IN\nACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE SECTION 22038(A)(1) AND AUTHORIZE STAFF TO\nPROCEED WITH READVERTIZING AND REBIDDING THE PROJECT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Reject bids received for construction of a dog park at Acuña Park (CP 922) in accordance with Public\nContract Code Section 22038(a)(1); and\n2. Authorize staff to modify the project scope of work in conformance with all applicable engineering\nstandards; and\n3. Authorize staff to re-advertise the Notice Inviting Bid in accordance with Public Contract Code Section\n22038(a)(1); and\n4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
