3) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PROPERTY TAX RATE REQUIRED TO\nMEET THE CITY’S OBLIGATION TO THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT SYSTEM\nFOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8327 establishing the amount necessary to be raised by taxation for\nthe City’s annual payment to the California Public Employees’ Retirement System;\nb. Fix the property tax rate for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 at $0.170462 per $100 of assessed\nvaluation; and\nc. Levy that tax rate upon all taxable property in the City.
