5) CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE A CONTRACT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CARRIER\nCORPORATION THROUGH SOURCEWELL FOR HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR\nCONDITIONING SYSTEM UPGRADES AT LAS PALMAS PARK\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Approve a Contract Services Agreement with Carrier Corporation (Contract No. 2284)\nthrough Sourcewell’s Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract No. 070121 in the amount\nof $385,225 for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning System Upgrades at Las Palmas\nPark;\nSpecial and Regular Meeting Notice and Agenda – August 19, 2024\nb. Approve a contingency not-to-exceed amount of $14,775 for any change orders due to\nunforeseen conditions or change in work; and\nc. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Agreement and all related\ndocuments.
