6) CONSIDERATION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO ELECNOR BELCO ELECTRIC,\nINC. FOR THE CITYWIDE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION PROJECT\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Accept the lowest responsible bid and approve a Construction Contract with Elecnor Belco\nElectric, Inc. in an amount not-to-exceed $912,750 for the Citywide Traffic Signal\nSynchronization Project (Contract No. 2285);\nb. Approve a project contingency in an amount not-to-exceed 10% of the contract amount, or\n$91,275, to cover costs of unforeseen conditions; and\nc. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract and all related\ndocuments.
