C. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-5770 APPROVING INSTALLATION OF\nADDITIONAL TRAFFIC CONTROL MEASURES AT ALESSANDRO AVENUE AND\nKENNERLY STREET AND OLEMA STREET AND TRELAWNEY AVENUE\nThe City Council is requested to approve the installation of additional traffic\ncontrol measures at Alessandro Avenue and Kennerly Street and Olema Street\nand Trelawney Avenue.\nRecommendation:\nAdopt Resolution No. 24-5770 approving installation of the following traffic control\nmeasures for:\nAlessandro Avenue and Kennerly Street:\n1. Stop Sign on the Northeast corner at the intersection between Alessandro\nAvenue and Kennerly Street, located on Kennerly Street;\n2. Stop pavement marking Westbound along Alessandro Avenue near the\nintersection with Kennerly Street, located on Kennerly Street;\n3. Stop Bar pavement marking Westbound along Alessandro Avenue near the\nintersection with Kennerly Street, located on Kennerly Street; and\n4. Plaque added to the Stop sign for Westbound traffic that reads "Cross Traffic\nDoes Not Stop", (W4-4P), and to add 20’ of red curb on the Southeast corner\nof Kennerly Street.\nOlema Street and Trelawney Avenue:\n1. Install Yield Sign(R1-2) for the eastbound direction, at the intersection of\nOlema Street and Trelawney Avenue;\n2. Install “Traffic Does Not Stop” Plaque for the eastbound direction, at the\nintersection of Olema Street and Trelawney Avenue;\n3. Install Stop Bar & “STOP” pavement legend along the eastbound direction of\nOlema Street, at the intersection with Trelawney Avenue;\n4. Remove faded “No Parking; 7AM - 5PM; School Day; Without Permit” sign that\nis located along the south side of Olema Street, at the intersection with\nTrelawney Avenue. Replace sign and relocate it to be located along the south\nside of Olema Street, approximately 65-feet west of Trelawney Avenue; and\n5. Add red curb markings on the southwest side of Olema Street opposite the\nexisting red curb markings on the northwest side of Olema Street.
