DISCUSSION OF TEMPORARY MEMORIAL STREET SIGNAGE TO HONOR\nTHE VICTIMS OF THE OCTOBER 7, 2023 ATTACK ON ISRAEL; AND\nFISCAL YEAR 2024-25 APPROPRIATION TOTALING $74,708 FROM THE\nGENERAL FUND FOR THE REINSTALLATION, SECURITY, AND\nMAINTENANCE OF THE TEMPORARY ART DISPLAY OF 1,400\nINTERNATIONAL FLAGS TO HONOR THE VICTIMS OF THE OCTOBER 7,\n2023 ATTACK ON ISRAEL AND HOSTAGES WHO HAVE BEEN MURDERED.\nComment: Staff is seeking direction on the naming of temporary memorial street\nsignage and an appropriation to bring back the temporary art display of 1,400\ninternational flags commemorating the victims of the October 7, 2023 attack by\nHamas and additional flags for the hostages that have been murdered. This request\nwill cover replacement of flags and wooden dowels, security, and the purchase of\nadditional flags being added to the display.
