CC 13. City-Wide Alleyway Resurfacing Project – Project No. P2501 – Award of Contract to\nFS Contractors, Inc. in the Amount of $60,000\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. Approve plans and specifications for the City-Wide Alleyway Resurfacing Project –\nProject No. P2501;\n2. Award a contract for the City-Wide Alleyway Resurfacing Project – Project No.\nP2501 to FS Contractors, Inc. as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the\namount of $60,000 and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract;\n3. Award a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) between the City of Covina and\nCEJ Engineers, Inc. in an Amount not-to-exceed $24,080 for Construction\nManagement and Inspection Services and authorize the City Manager to execute the\ncontract; and\n4. Authorize a project contingency amount of $6,000 (approximately 10%) to cover the\ncost of unforeseen construction expenses.
