7. Award the Contract for Police Department - Detective Bureau, Administrative Office\nMaintenance and Conference Room Remodeling, Plan 1364 to Mackone Development, Inc. in\nthe amount of $160,499.63 (Strategic Plan Item 46 - IMCIF)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Adopt a Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines; 2. Award the contract for Police\nDepartment – Detective Bureau, Administrative Office Maintenance and Conference Room\nRemodeling, Plan No. 1364 to Mackone Development, Inc. in the amount of $160,499.63; 3.\nAuthorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the agreement with Mackone\nDevelopment, Inc., including minimal and/or non-substantive changes; 4. Authorize the\nAdministrative Services Director to appropriate $44,998.63 from Capital Improvement Projects\nFund F321 towards project budget; and 5. Authorize the Public Works Director to execute any\nnecessary change orders in an amount not to exceed 10% of the original contract amount.
