7. Accept Grant Funds from the California Emerging Technology Fund to Advance\nDigital Equity (All Wards) P.684\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino, California,\nadopt Resolution No. 2024­185:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager or designee to accept grant award funds in the\namount of $1,000 from the California Emerging Technology Fund to; and\n2. Authorizing the City Manager or designee to conduct all negotiations, signing, and\nsubmittals of necessary documents to receive the grant award funds; and\n3. Authorizing the Director of Finance and Management Services to amend the FY\n2024/25 budget in both revenues and expenses and appropriate $1,000 in grant\naward funds to be used towards advancing digital equity.
