27. BUDGET REVISION – HOUSING ELEMENT OVERAGES\n(COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve a revision to the original Targeted Zoning Code Amendments budget to\ncover time and material needed to address the California Housing and Community\nDevelopment (HCD) comments on the City’s 2021-2029 Housing Element; and\n2) Additional appropriation in the amount of $18,000 to cover the overages for the\nadditional work needed to address HCD comments; and\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
