15. CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY GRANT AWARDS FOR EBOOKS FOR ALL AND\nPLAY FOR ALL-POP UP AND PLAY PROGRAMS AT THE SANTA FE SPRINGS\nCITY LIBRARY (COMMUNITY SERVICES)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve and authorize the Director of Community Services to execute the\nagreements for eBooks for All and Play for All- Pop Up and Play grant awards by\nthe California State Library; and\n2) Approve the recognition of $35,064 in grant funds awarded by the California State\nLibrary, with $12,000 allocated for the eBooks for All program and $23,064\nallocated for the Play for All Grant; Pop Up & Play Program, and authorize the\ndeposit of these funds into the Library & Cultural Services Administration's State\nGrants/Subventions revenue account (No. 10105699-442000); and\n3) Approve an increase in expense authority by $35,064 in the Library & Cultural\nServices Administration's Audio-Visual expenditure account (No. 10105699-\n523010) to allow for the expenditure of the grant funds; and\n4) Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
