4. AUTHORIZE RFP: ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION INFRASTRUCTURE\nAT VARIOUS CITY PARKS – F2M24-56, RFP2M24-17\nThe Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Infrastructure project is designed to help the\nCity invest in and provide green technology for residents and visitors. This project includes\nthe installation of up to 18 new EV charging stations in public parking lots at 3 park\nlocations: Alhambra Park, Granada Park and the Joslyn Center at Story Park. The\nproposed EV charging stations will be available to the public and enable residents and\npatrons with electric vehicles to charge their cars while visiting the parks. This Request for\nProposals (RFP) seeks to identify a qualified contractor for the deployment of the EV\nCharging Station Infrastructure project.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize the distribution of a Request for\nProposals for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Infrastructure at various City parks;\nand, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
