30. CONTRACT AMENDMENT: TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND STREET LIGHTING\nMAINTENANCE SERVICES – F2M20-9, C2M20-27, M2M24-159\nOn July 13, 2020, the City Council awarded a contract to Siemens in the amount of\n$200,000.00 for the Traffic Signal and Street Lighting Maintenance Services. On July 12,\n2021, the City Council amended the existing contract with SIEMENS Mobility Inc. to\ninclude a company name change to YUNEX LLC and authorize the City Manager to\nextend the contract and all remining contract extensions place in the original contract upon\nsatisfactory performance by the contractor. An amendment is needed at this time to cover\ncosts incurred associated with providing Traffic Signal and Street Lighting Maintenance in\nthe 2023-24 Fiscal Year. Staff has calculated and determined the Fiscal Year 2023-24\ncontract costs will be $240,000.00 for Traffic Signal and Street Lighting Maintenance,\nwhich difference of $40,000.00 can be covered via the Public Works Maintenance\nImprovement District Fund.\n\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a Second Amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to the contract by and between\nthe City of Alhambra and YUNEX LLC (C2M20-27) in the amount of $40,000 for the Traffic\nSignal and Street Lighting Maintenance Services; authorize the City Manager to sign the\namendment; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.\n(M2M24-159)
