16. NOTICE INVITING BIDS: ALMANSOR PARK GYMNASIUM EXTERIOR PAINTING\nPROJECT – F2M24-59, N2M24-102\nThe Almansor Park Gymnasium exterior is in need of a fresh coat of paint and\ncosmetic repairs. The existing paint is approximately over twenty years old. Specifications\nand bid documentation have been completed for the Almansor Park Gymnasium Exterior\nPainting Project, which includes: painting the exterior of the gym; repairing and replacing\nrotted fascia boards and rain gutters; sandblasting and repainting the Almansor Park\nentrance sign; and replacing broken storage doors.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the Almansor Park Gymnasium Exterior Painting project with\nbids due by 10:30 a.m. on September 12, 2024; and, direct staff to undertake the steps\nnecessary to finalize Council’s action.
