21. NOTICE OF COMPLETION: EMERGENCY STORM DRAIN PIPE REPAIR AT\nRAMONA AVENUE – F2M24-16, C2M24-34, M2M24-149\nOn May 13, 2024, the City Council awarded a contract to Sancon Technologies, Inc.\nfor the Emergency Storm Drain Pipe Repair at Ramona Road in the amount of\n$143,600.00. There were no change orders during the project. The project was\ncompleted in accordance with the City’s requirements and specifications. As such,\nit would be appropriate for the City Council to accept the project as complete and\ninstruct the City Clerk that the Notice of Completion be filed with the County of Los\nAngeles Recorder’s Office.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept the work of Sancon Technologies, Inc\nfor the emergency storm drain pipe repair at Ramona Road project as complete in the\namount of $143,600; direct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County of\nLos Angeles for recordation; instruct the Finance Director release the five percent\nretention 35 days from the date of recordation if no liens are filed; and direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s action.
