8. Agreement with ZZ Construction, Inc., for the Construction of Hollydale Community\nPark, Agreement\nThe City Council will consider: (PW)\na. Approving Agreement with ZZ Construction, Inc., for the construction completion of Hollydale\nCommunity Park, City Project No. 607-PRK, in an amount not-to-exceed $2,001,373;\nb. Appropriating $499,931 received from Great America Insurance Co., as payment for losses\nthe City incurred due to Contract No. 2022-84 CC being terminated for contractor default, to fund\nthe Hollydale Community Park, City Project No. 607-PRK;\nc. Authorizing the City Manager to approve change orders administratively up to a cumulative\namount of $200,000 to avoid delaying construction if change order work is needed;\nd. Authorizing the City Manager to approve pre-payments of construction progress payments for\nthe construction contract to meet compliance with state legislation that requires payments within\n30 days; and\ne.
