9.1 FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 733 ADOPTING ZONING ORDINANCE\nAMENDMENT NO. 56, ADDING LAND USE REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO\nMAINTENANCE OF CHICKENS IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES AND AMENDING TITLE 21 OF\nTHE LA MIRADA MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONING ORDINANCE), AND APPROVING AN\nEXEMPTION FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA)\nPURSUANT TO SECTION 15061(B)(3) OF THE CEQA GUIDELINES - It is recommended\nthe City Council conduct a public hearing as required by law and consider all public\ntestimony regarding the proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 56; affirm the CEQA\nExemption; and introduce for first reading Ordinance No. 733 adopting Zoning Ordinance\nAmendment No. 56 adding land use regulations applicable to chickens to Title 21 of the La\nMirada Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance) and approving an exemption from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA\nguidelines, by title only, and waive further reading.\n9.1 Ord.
