Award of Contract for the Public Safety Building Site Improvement Project This action will\naward a construction contract to Oppenheimer National in the amount of $178,813.20 for the\nPublic Safety Building Site Improvement Project, for a total cost of $196,694.52. The project is\nbudgeted in Fiscal Year (FY) 24-25 for the modification of the existing secured parking area wall,\nrelated site improvements, and gate enhancements.\nRecommendation: That the City Council award a public works construction contract to\nOppenheimer National, the lowest, most responsible bidder, in the amount of $178,813.20 for\nthe Public Safety Building Site Improvement Project and authorize the Public Works Director or\ndesignee to issue change orders not exceeding 10% of the construction budget for a total\npossible construction contract cost of $196,694.52.\nOTHER MATTERS
