6) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR POLICE\nDEPARTMENT OVERTIME\nRecommend that the City Council:\nSpecial and Regular Meeting Notice and Agenda – September 3, 2024\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8330 amending the budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 to appropriate\nfunds from the General Fund reserve for overtime costs associated with increased patrol,\nenforcement, investigations, and other police activity; and\nb. Authorize the City Manager to appropriate revenue into the Police Department Overtime\nFunds.
