4) CONSIDERATION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO ONYX PAVING COMPANY, INC.\nFOR FOG SEAL COATING OF CITY PARKING LOTS PROJECT\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Accept the lowest responsive bid from Onyx Paving Company, Inc., for construction services\nfor Fog Seal Coating of City Parking Lots Project, Job No. 7627;\nb. Approve a Construction Contract (Contract No. 2289) with Onyx Paving Company, Inc., for\nan amount not-to-exceed $552,560 for construction services for Fog Seal Coating of City\nParking Lots Project, Job No. 7627;\nc. Approve a contingency of $47,440 for any change orders due to unforeseen conditions or\nchange in work;\nd. Adopt Resolution No. 8332 amending the budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 to transfer\ncapital funds within Measure M and the Parking & Maintenance Operations to fund the City\nParking Lots Project; and\ne. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement and all related\ndocuments.
