6B. PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS UNDER SECTION 147(F) OF THE\nIRS CODE PERTAINING TO A TAX-EXEMPT BOND PROJECT PROPOSED BY EDCO WASTE &\nRECYCLING SERVICES AND ACTIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH\nThe City Council will hold a public hearing and consider making findings pursuant to Section 147(f) of\nthe Internal Revenue Code of 1986 with respect to the issuance by the California Enterprise\nDevelopment Authority ("Authority") of tax-exempt bonds the proceeds of which will be loaned by the\nAuthority to EDCO Waste and Recycling Services, Inc. ("EDCO") to fund a solid waste disposal facility\nlocated at 9700-6762 Stanton Avenue, Buena Park, and certain equipment. The City Council will also\nconsider joining the Authority as an Associate Member to enable EDCO to utilize Authority Bond\nproceeds.\n— Recommended Action: 1) Conduct a public hearing pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal\nRevenue Code of 1986, and after considering testimony or other evidence presented at the\nhearing; 2) Adopt a resolution approving the issuance by California Enterprise Development\nAuthority to benefit EDCO Waste & Recycling Services.; and 3) Adopt a resolution approving\nassociate member by the City of Buena Park in the California Enterprise Development Authority.
