CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-215,\nACCEPTING THE MECHANICAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY UPGRADES\nFOR THE SOUTH EL MONTE AUTONOMOUS BUILDING CONTROLS\nRETROFIT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE\nTHE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY\nRECORDER\nOn May 25, 2023, the City released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for\nMechanical Energy Efficiency Upgrades at three (3) City facilities -\nCommunity Center, Mini Center and Senior Center. The final cost of the\nservice completed by AC Pros, Inc is $1,126,315.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-215, accepting the completion of the\nMechanical Energy Efficiency Upgrades;\n2. Authorize City Clerk to send the Notice of Completion for\nrecordation to the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office; and\n3. Release retention accordingly.
