5. City Council: Staff recommends that the City Council approve two 23-257\npurchase orders as follows: 1) a purchase order to Ken\nGrody Ford, not to exceed a total of $70,000 for the\npurchase of one vehicle for the Oceanside Police\nDepartment which would be considered an addition to fleet;\n2) a purchase order to Draxxon, not to exceed $125,000,\nfor upfitting the police vehicle; approve the purchase from\nDraxxon as a sole source procurement; and authorize the\nFinancial Services Director, or designee, to execute the\npurchase orders.
