DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS\nDR-1. CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE\nStaff report recommending the Mayor and Council Members direct City Manager\nto negotiate a reasonable and prudent annual fee for services with the Fire\nProtection District of Los Angeles County (District) for FY25-26, that such fee\nbe based on a fair and impartial analysis of actual costs, and that the negotiated\nAgreement be submitted for City Council approval.\nRecommendation:\n1. Adopt Resolution;\n-AND-\n2. Delegate authority to the City Manager or Assistant City Manager, in\nconsultation with the City Attorney, to take necessary steps to establish the ICRD,\nincluding:\na. Coordinating with the County of Los Angeles;\nb. Establishing a District Board to govern the ICRD that includes representation from the\nCity; and\nc.
