3.a Consider the Formation of a Council Ad-Hoc Committee for a Limited Duration to\nwork with Staff in developing draft recommendations for the upcoming City\nCentennial, including the structure of a future Steering Committee; the Ad-Hoc\nCommittee will exist until Recommendations are made to the full Council or until\nFebruary 2025\nFiscal Impact:\nNone\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Formally appoint two (2) City Council members to an Ad-Hoc Centennial\nCommittee to work with Staff to develop draft recommendations for events,\nprogramming and the structure of a future Centennial Steering Committee;\nand\n2. Present said recommendations to the City Council in January 2025.
