F. 2024 CONFLICT-OF-INTEREST CODE BIENNIAL UPDATE [RESOLUTION NO.\n24-61]\nUnder the Political Reform Act, public agencies are required to adopt a conflict-\nof-interest code designating positions required to file Statements of Economic\nInterests (Form 700) and assigning disclosure categories specifying the types of\ninterests to be reported. The conflict-of interest code must be reviewed every\nCity Council Regular Meeting Agenda – September 17, 2024 4\ntwo years so that amendments may be made as needed. There is no fiscal\nimpact related to this item.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council effectuate the necessary changes to the\nCity’s Conflict of Interest Code by adopting Resolution No. 24-61 entitled, “A\nResolution of the City Council of the City of San Gabriel, California, Amending\nthe City of San Gabriel Conflict of Interest Code and Rescinding Resolution No.\n22-56.”
