A. REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS FROM CITY COUNCIL AD HOC\nSUBCOMMITTEE\nThe City Council appointed an ad hoc subcommittee consisting of Vice Mayor\nMenchaca and Councilmember Ding to analyze and identify policies or\nprograms that could be implemented to support the LGBTQ+ community. The\nad hoc subcommittee met with several stakeholders and had identified a short\nlist of recommendations for the City Council to consider. There are no fiscal\nimpacts associated with receiving this report from the City Council ad hoc\nsubcommittee. Any subcommittee recommendations resulting in fiscal impacts,\nthat the City Council directs for implementation that are not already included\nin the current fiscal year budget will be brought back at a future date for\nconsideration. At that time, those specific fiscal impacts will be identified.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council receive the report from the ad hoc\nsubcommittee and, if desired, provide direction to implement any or all of these\nrecommendations.
