9.4\nBUDGET AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO ARPA FUND FOR\nCONTINUATION OF PROGRAMS\nComments:\nThe Community Development Department is in charge of implementing programs utilizing\nARPA funds. Due to a budget error funds were not carried over to the current fiscal year\n24/25. A budget amendment is needed to appropriate the funds into the ARPA fund to\ncontinue implementing ARPA related programs. (CD)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,\nAPPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED AMERICAN RESCUE\nPLAN ACT (ARPA) FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $733,198 TO COVER ANTICIPATED\nCity Council Regular Meeting\n3\nEXPENSES DURING FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025.”
