16. AWARD CONTRACT: PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICAL AND HVAC SERVICES –\nF2M24-60, N2M24-103, C2M24-58, M2M24-176\nOn August 26, 2024, the City Council approved the distribution of a Notice Inviting Bids\nfor the Professional Electrical and HVAC Services to Maintain Park Facilities. On\nSeptember 12, 2024, the City Clerk received two bids for the Project. The bids were: J.G.\nMendoza Electric, Inc. ($72,850.00) and Baker Electric, Inc. ($148,250.00). The bid\nreceived from J.G. Mendoza Electric is the lowest responsive bid. Staff reviewed the bid\nsubmitted by J.G. Mendoza Electric, Inc., and found it to be in full compliance and\nconformance with the project specifications.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproved by the City Manager and City Attorney, to J.G. Mendoza Electric, Inc. in\nan amount not to exceed $72,850.00 for Professional Electrical and HVAC Services\nto maintain park facilities; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nthe Council’s action.
