22. CONTRACT AMENDMENT: CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR ALHAMBRA CITY HALL,\nALHAMBRA POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALHAMBRA CIVIC CENTER LIBRARY, FIRE\nSTATION 71 & VARIOUS CITY FACILITIES – F2M22-45, C2M22-41, M2M24-182\nThe City entered into a three-year contract with Commercial Building Management\nServices for custodial services on July 1, 2022. Amendment No. 1 was issued and\nbecame effective on October 23, 2023, amending the services being rendered at certain\nParks and Recreation facilities. There was no change to the fee as part of this amendment,\nand all provisions remained unchanged. On September 3, 2024, the City received a\nNotification of Sale letter from Commercial Building Management Services. The letter\nstates the owner is retiring and the sale of the company to Commercial Building\nManagement, CBM. Incorporated, will become effective on October 1, 2024. As a result\nof the name change, it is appropriate to amend the existing contract.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a contract amendment to Contract No.\nC2M22-41, subject to final language approval by the City Manager and the City Attorney,\nfor custodial services to change the company name from Commercial Building\nManagement Services to Commercial Building Management, CBM. Incorporated; and,\ndirect staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s action. (M2M24-182)
