CONSIDER AWARD OF BID FOR PROJECT NO. 9137, 9138 & 82341, STANDBY\nGENERATOR INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT (BID NO. 2024-07)\nCEQA: Categorically Exempt from further environmental review pursuant to Section 15301(c)\n(Existing Facilities). The City filed the Notice of Exemption with the County of San Bernardino\non July 8, 2024.\nRecommended Action:\nApprove the plans and specifications for Project No. 9137, 9138 & 82341, Standby Generator\nInstallation and Replacement Project, deem the bid from High Volt Electric as non-responsive,\naward a construction contract to Proterra Builders, Inc. in the amount of $1,175,000, and\napprove a construction contingency in the amount of $117,500 for a total contract amount of\n$1,292,500; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement. Additionally, authorize\na transfer of $50,000 from the Infrastructure Improvement Reserve to the General Capital\nProject Fund and appropriate the funds to be used towards the project.
