15. Accept and approve the Assistance Agreement with the U.S. Department of Transportation\n(DOT), in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000, to implement and evaluate a deployment of\nConnected Vehicles technologies and applications to improve safety for the period of September\n15, 2024 through March 14, 2026; authorize the Director of Public Works or designee, to execute\nthe agreement and to take the necessary actions implement and administer the agreement,\nincluding any extensions; authorize de minimis changes that do not substantially change the\nterms and conditions of the agreement, as determined by the City Attorney’s Office; and increase\nthe Department of Public Works revenue and expenditure budget for FY 2024/25, in the amount\nof $2,000,000.
