CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF PROPOSITION\n36, THE HOMELESSNESS, DRUG ADDICTION, AND THEFT REDUCTION ACT\nThe City Council will consider adoption of a resolution in support of Proposition 36, the\nHomelessness, Drug Addiction, and Theft Reduction Act, as prepared by the League of\nCalifornia Cities.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this item is not subject to California Environmental Quality Act\n(“CEQA”) pursuant to Sections 15378(b)(5)(Organizational or administrative activities\nof governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the\nenvironment); and\n2. Provide direction to staff regarding whether or not to approve Resolution No. 2024-\n33, entitled:\n“A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STANTON,\nCALIFORNIA AFFIRMING THE CITY'S SUPPORT OF PROPOSITION 36,\nTHE HOMELESSNESS, DRUG ADDICTION, AND THEFT REDUCTION\nACT”.
