11. REJECT BIDS RECEIVED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE RIO HONDO RIVER ACCESS IMPROVEMENT\nPROJECT (CP 924) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE SECTION 22038(A)(1) AND\nAUTHORIZE STAFF TO PROCEED WITH READVERTISING AND REBIDDING THE PROJECT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Reject all bids received for construction of the Rio Hondo River Access Improvement Project (CP 924) in\naccordance with Public Contract Code Section 22038(a)(1); and\n2. Authorize staff to modify the project scope of work in conformance with all applicable engineering\nstandards; and\n3. Authorize staff to re-advertise the Notice Inviting Bid in accordance with Public Contract Code Section\n22038(a)(1); and\n4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
