E. PURCHASE OF NEW POLICE ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE - $16,499.99 \nThe Police Department is requesting to purchase a 2024 Honda SXS700M4 all-\nterrain vehicle (ATV) in the amount of $16,499.99 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. The \nfunding source for the purchase of this ATV will be provided by the California \nHighway Patrol Cannabis Tax Fund Grant #17920. The impact to the grant \nfunding is slightly lower than the budgeted amount of $17,000 in the current \ngrant fiscal year. It should also be noted that this vehicle will not be used for \nspecific enforcement purposes but still needs to be marked for usage as police \nDriving Under the Influence equipment that can be funded utilizing the \nremaining $500 of the grant funding allotted. \nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as \ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines. \nRecommended Action: \nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the purchase of one 2024 \nHonda SXS700M4 all-terrain vehicle from Mountain Motor Sports utilizing \nCannabis Tax Fund Grant #17920 funds from account #124-751-57-99-383.
