3.a\nApproval of the Design Concept Plan for the Jaycee Parkette Renovation CIP and Prop 68\nProject No. 7313\nFiscal Impact:\nThe total grant award for the project at Jaycee Parkette is $610,000. The grant funds are\nreimbursed by the California Department of Parks and Recreation. The City is not required\nto provide any matching funds for this grant. Funding for the project has been appropriated\nin the FY 24-25 budget as part of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The project will\nalso be carried over into subsequent Fiscal Years until completion of the project. Based on\nthe grant guidelines, the project must be completed by June 30, 2028.\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Provide Staff with input to incorporate into the design plan for the renovation of the\nJaycee Parkette playground project; and \n2. Approve the design concept plan for the Jaycee Parkette playground renovation\nproject.
