6. Award of Contract for City Project No. CIP 24-001-55027 - Morgan Park\nRestroom Improvements\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Determine that the bid submitted by CO Brothers LLC is a non-\nresponsive bid; and\n2. Approve and award the construction contract to Corral Construction\nDevelopment, Inc. of Commerce, CA in the amount of $403,039.00;\nand,\n3. Authorize the Director of Public Works to negotiate and execute an\nagreement with the City’s on-call consultants for construction\nmanagement and inspection services in an amount not-to-exceed\n$34,258.00; and,\n4. Authorize a 12% construction contingency in an amount not-to-\nexceed $48,365.00; and\n5. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the contract with\nCorral Construction Development, Inc.\nSTAFF REPORT
