3-J. \nPURCHASE OF BULK CHEMICALS FOR WATER DIVISION \nIt is recommended that the City Council consider: \n(1) \nAuthorizing the City Manager to execute three-year agreements, in a form approved by \nthe City Attorney, with Pacific Star Chemical, LLC; Univar Solutions USA, LLC; and USP \nTechnologies for the purchase and delivery of hydrogen peroxide for a combined total not \nto exceed $240,000 annually; \n(2) \nAuthorizing the City Manager to execute a three-year agreement, in a form approved by \nthe City Attorney, with Gallade Chemical, Inc. for the purchase and delivery of sodium \nchloride for an amount not to exceed $40,000 annually; and \n(3) \nAppropriating to the FY 2024-25 budget, $140,000 in water treatment funds for the \npurchase and delivery of hydrogen peroxide, and $15,000 in water operations funds for \nsodium chloride; and \n(4) \nTaking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
