10. APPROVAL OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY (OTS) SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT\nPROGRAM (STEP) GRANT FUNDS UTILIZATION\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the use of grant funding awarded by the California Office of Traffic and Safety (OTS) through\nthe Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP), Grant number PT25182, in the amount of $150,000;\nand\n2. Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget and increase appropriations by $150,000 in Account No. 265-\n8013-800-5010.10, 6000.20 and 6020, Grants, OTS-STEP Grant, PT25182 FY 2024-25 (Overtime,\nSupplies and Travel and Meetings); and,\n3. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
