5. REJECTION OF CLAIM A claim was filed with the City by Tonatiuh Lago. Staff directed the claims to the City's general\nliability claims administrator Carl Warren & Company for processing, review, and investigation.\nFollowing its investigation, Carl Warren & Company determined that the City was not responsible\nfor the claim and determination.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council reject the claims filed by Tonatiuh Lagos. The\nclaims are being presented for rejection in a manner that allows the claimant, subject to certain\nexceptions, up to six months to file a court action on the claim.
