ACCEPTANCE OF THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY (OTS) STEP\nGRANT FUNDS AND APPROVAL OF GRANT AGREEMENT NUMBER PT25139\nThe City of Bell Gardens was awarded a traffic enforcement grant through the California Office of\nTraffic Safety in the amount of $178,000 for FY 2024-25. The grant requires that the City Council\nformally accept these funds by entering into a Grant Agreement and adopting the attached\nResolution.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff recommendation that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution approving Grant\nAgreement Number PT25139 with the State of California - Office of Traffic Safety, thereby\naccepting grant funds and authorizing the Police Department to begin expending these funds\ntoward its Traffic Safety Program.
