I.16 NASON STREET LOOP LINE EXTENSION (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nAuthorizing the award of the Construction Contract to Doty Bros. Construction Company for Nason Street Loop Tie from Iris\nAvenue to Cactus Avenue, Project 805 0067\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Authorize the award of the construction contract to Doty Bros. Construction Company (11232 East. Firestone Blvd., Norwalk,\nCA 90650) for the Nason Street Loop Tie Line Extension.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Doty Bros. Construction Company in the amount of $1,355,010.02\nfunded by MVU operating funds (Fund 6011).\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Doty Bros. Construction Company for the amount of $1,355,010.02 when the\ncontract has been signed by all parties: and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent Amendments to the Agreement with Doty Bros. Construction\nCompany within the City Council approved annual budgeted amounts, including the authority to authorize the associated\npurchase orders in accordance with the terms of the agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and\n5. Authorize a budget adjustment as set forth in the fiscal impact section.
