I.15 GENTIAN AVENUE LINE EXTENSION (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nAuthorization of the Award of the Construction Contract to Doty Bros. Construction Company for the Gentian Avenue Line\nExtension from Heacock Street to Indian Street, Project 805 0062\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Authorize the award of the construction contract to Doty Bros. Construction Company, (11232 E. Firestone Blvd, Norwalk,\nCA 90650), for the Gentian Avenue Line Extension Project 805 0062.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Doty Bros. Construction Company for the amount of $1,086,914.16,\nfunded by MVU restricted funds balance (Fund 6011).\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Doty Bros. Construction Company for the amount of $1,086,914.16 when the\ncontract has been signed by all parties: and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent Amendments to the Agreement with Doty Bros. Construction\nCompany within the City Council approved annual budgeted amounts, including the authority to authorize the associated\npurchase orders in accordance with the terms of the agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and\n5.
