Item No. 24. 2023-0077 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO PUBLIC\nWORKS AGREE M E N T WITH CROSSTOWN\nELECTRICAL & DATA, INC., APPROVAL OF CHANGE\nORDER NO. 1, AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION\nNO. 23-041, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF\nCARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL\nYEAR 2022-23 BUDGET IN THE SPECIAL REVENUE\nFUNDS" PROVIDING FUNDS FOR ADDITIONAL\nWORK FOR PROJECT NO. 1611 - TRAFFIC SIGNAL\nINSTALLATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF\nCENTRAL AVENUE AND DIMONDALE DRIVE (CITY\nCOUNCIL)\nRecommendation: Take the following actions:\n1. APPROVE Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $181,995.62\nfor Project No. 1611 - Traffic Signal Installation at the intersection\nof Central Avenue and Dimondale Drive.\n2. APPROVE the expenditure of construction contingency, if\nnecessary, in the amount of $18,004.38 for change orders such as\nthe removal and remediation of contaminated soil, substructure\nconflicts, and other unforeseen construction work that may be\nrequired to complete this project as specified in the contract.\n3. APPROVE Amendment No. 1 to Public Works Agreement with\nCrosstown Electrical & Data, Inc.\n4. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 following\napproval as to form by the City Attorney.\n5.
