10. Citywide Resurfacing and Reconstruction Project (CIP No. 50066) – Award\nConstruction. (500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Award a Construction Contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $4,209,000 to\nOnyx Paving Company, Inc., for the Citywide Resurfacing and\nReconstruction Project, CIP No. 50066 (Project) and authorize the City\nManager to execute the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney;\n2. Approve the plans and specifications for the Project;\n3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to approve change orders, as\nneeded, in an amount not-to-exceed $420,900 (approximately 10% of the\ntotal contract amount) for construction contingency; and\n4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project and authorize\nthe City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in accordance with\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\nAgreement No. _________
