15.m ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. ORD-24-1482 TO AMEND VARIOUS\nSECTIONS OF THE HERMOSA BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO UPDATE THE\nTITLE AND ROLE OF CERTAIN CITY PERSONNEL - 24-CA-007\nCEQA: DETERMINING THE ORDINANCE IS NOT A PROJECT UNDER THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA)\n(City Attorney Patrick Donegan)\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends City Council:\n1. Waive the full second reading and adopt by title only Ordinance No. 1482 of\nthe City of Hermosa Beach, California, amending various sections of the\nHermosa Beach Municipal Code to update the title and role of certain city\npersonnel and determine that the ordinance is not a project under CEQA\n(Attachment 1); and\n2. Direct the City Clerk to print and publish a summary ordinance in a\nnewspaper of general circulation within 15 days following adoption and post\na copy on the City’s bulletin for 30 days.
