16. AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH CUMMINS, INC. FOR VEHICLE\nREPAIR SERVICES (FUNDING SOURCE: SANITATION FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Cummins, Inc.\nin the amount of $34,807.19 for vehicle repairs; and\nB. Appropriate $49,500.94 from the Sanitation Fund to cover the full cost of\nthe engine diagnosis and the emergency repair.
