10. AWARD OF CONTRACTS FOR BUS SHELTER ENHANCEMENT PROJECT (FUNDING\nSOURCES: GRANT FUNDS AND PROPOSITION C FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Award contract to Tolar Manufacturing, Inc. for fabrication and _ installation\nservices for the Bus Stop Enhancement Project and authorize the City\nManager to enter into an agreement in the amount of $470,539, and\nauthorize a ten percent contingency in the amount of $47,054, for a total\ncontract amount of $517,593;\nB. Award contract to Green Giant Landscape, Inc. for site preparation\nservices for the Bus Stop Enhancement Project and authorize the City\nManager to enter into an agreement in the amount of $280,000, and\nauthorize a ten percent contingency in the amount of $28,000, for a total\ncontract amount of $308,000;\nC. Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with JBohn\nAssociates, Inc. in the amount of $12,500 for consultation services for the\nBus Stop Enhancement Project;\nD. Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with CXT\nIncorporated in the amount of $362,000 for the demolition and_ installation\nwork related to the Cahuilla Park Restroom Improvement Project, and\nauthorize a ten percent project contingency of $36,200;\nB. Appropriate $211,200 in Park Dedication funds to fund a ten percent\ncontingency in the amount of $36,200 and $175,000 until reimbursement\nfunds from the Claremont Unified School District are received for the\ndemolition and_ installation work related to the Cahuilla Park Restroom\nImprovement Project; and\nC. Approve the purchase of Motorola Solutions, Inc. radio equipment offered\nthrough the reimbursable State of California 2020 Homeland Security Grant\nProgram (SHSGP);\nB. Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Motorola\nSolutions, Inc. in the amount of $66,849.19 for the purchase of mobile\nradios; and\nC. Appropriate $66,849.19 from the General Fund for the purchase of mobile\nradios which will be reimbursed through SHSGP grant funds.
