Approval of Informed Consent and Waiver of Potential Conflict of Interest in\nLegal Representation by Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP, and Authorization\nfor City Attorney to Execute - City Attorney’s Office\nRecommendation:\nAuthorize the City Attorney, or their designee, to sign the consent waiving any\npotential conflict with Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP concurrently\nrepresenting the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) in\ndefense of tort litigation brought against Metro as well as property acquisition\nwork in connection with various Metro projects which are not located in the City\nof Burbank while representing the City of Burbank on a variety of unrelated\nmatters.
